Meet Daniel

Like I always say, we test it before we write about it!

Problem Solved's founder, Jenna Leigh Miller, is an actor awaiting the return of Broadway like the rest of us. That means she is quarantine taping, practicing and refining her "actor package". Jenna had the pleasure of being a customer of Daniel's and is so incredibly pumped about the new eye-catching dance reel he has created for her!

( I MEAN DUH, HAVE YOU SEEN IT!!!!)

Tell us a little bit about the coming of age of your business?

"I’m a Choreographer, Performer and Teaching Artist. I tend to like to keep myself busy so during Quarantine I also got a new editor to work with so I could edit projects whenever I wasn’t teaching for Steps On Broadway."

What advice would you give to someone hoping to start a new self-run business?

"I would just say go for it. If you have drive and ambition the worst thing that could happen are no’s and missteps. You won’t even get those if you don’t try and put yourself out there."

How did you gain the skills to edit and create dance reels so confidently?

"I actually always loved editing video footage. For my arts initiative, Leg Up On Life, I edit the highlight reels from the events and edit people’s performances. Starting to do reels became easy because I try to make dynamics match the music like I would choreography so it stays interesting."

Fun Facts:

What is your favorite style of dance?

“This may be a cop out but I’ve got a very diverse background of training so I tend to do a lot of fusion styles so it’s hard to pick one.... Probably Jazz?”
Are you still teaching amidst the Pandemic?

“Yep! I teach Tuesday’s and Thursday’s each week. Tuesday’s my Intermediate Jazz 12:30P-1:30P EST and Thursday’s is my Intermediate Beginner Class 12:30P-1:30P EST. Both sign up’s end by 12:15P EST.

In addition, I have done a few Instagram live classes here and there. Those aren’t weekly though so you gotta follow me on instagram to stay up to date! @djpgold

I actually was one of the last classes that happened at Steps On Broadway before COVID really struck and shut the city down. (Literally the day they closed does was my last class)”
What’s one meal you could eat every day for the rest of your life?

“Pizza!”

Where is your Dream Vacation?

My Partner, Cameron, and I keep talking about Puerto Vallarta. That’s the first one of many!”
